Bar 415 and the 40/40 club are both great places to get a drink before the game. Most people tailgate in the parking lot before the games starting as early at 8:30 AM on any given Sunday. Tempest Bar NYC, a landmark Irish tavern, is the best bar near the NJ Transit train to Meadowlands / MetLife Stadium, at 30th St. and 8th Ave. It often has large crowds of rabid Jets fans before and after every game, whether they're fueling up before boarding NJ Transit to MetLife Stadium or planning to stay and watch the game with us.

Definately tailgating is the best option for a beer before the game. Or head in early and grab a Bud from the bar and watch the team warm up. We did this to maximise our time inside the ground
