How do I get to Stadion Nurnberg?

Stadion Nurnberg is a venue in Nuremberg

The stadium is a little bit out of the way – being 4km outside of the city. Which is a bit too far to walk. There is no need to take an expensive taxi though, as you can get there perfectly easily by public transport! From the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station) you can board the cities great tram system. The number 2 tram will take you close to the stadium. Remember to get off at Frankenstadion and from there the stadium is a short walk away.If you are coming from the cities old town and aren't near the number 2. The number 6 is a good alternative – be sure to get off at Dutzendteich Stop and follow the crowds on the short walk to the stadium.

Car: Once you're on the highway A9 you want to take the exit "Fischbach” and simply follow the signs towards the stadium. They will guide you right to the numerous parking facilities. There are more than 12,000 parking lots which means a great parking situation overall. Train & Tram: Make sure you get to Nuremberg Central Station by train if coming from further away. Then simply hop on the S2 metro line and make your way towards "Frankenstadion”. In case you're already finding yourself within the city center you can also take the tram lines 6 or 9. Bus: Bus lines 44 and 65 will get you to the stadium. Get off at "Frankenstadion” as well. If you purchased your ticket online, it is not enough to simply print it out and use it as a ticket. You want to personalize your ticket in the online-shop to validate your information first.

While the stadium is a short distance away from the centre of Nürnberg, it is not difficult to reach. It has a designated train station, Frankenstadion, using the old name of the ground, which is just a short ride from the centre of town. The tram line 9 also goes straight to the Stadion Nürnberg, though taking a more circuitous route.
