What to expect from the Molineux Stadium crowd?

Molineux Stadium is a venue in or near Wolverhampton that is most often used for Soccer

Most games only permit 1,600 away fans, which is a shame. The majority of teams manage to compensate for the small number by seriously upping their chant and shout efforts! The home crowd is excellent though: they cheer, shout and sing their way through the game, motivating the team and spurring them on regardless of the setting. They don't miss a beat when bantering with the away crowd either, engaging in harmless but brilliantly fun banter!

The atmosphere at Molineux is always a fantastic one. From before the whistle with the whole stadium singing the 'Wolves tailored' version of Hi Ho Silver linings (Hi Ho Wolverhampton) - to throughout the game. The Jack Hayward stand makes sure that the rest of the stadium is up for the game, constantly egging the other stands on. There is also a healthy competition between the Hayward and the Cullis stands at who can sing the loudest. This gets the other two stands into it and whips the ground into a frenzy. Great Stuff.
