BMO Harris Bradley Center is a venue in Milwaukee
Upper 90 sports club and Catch 22 bar and grill are two great places to meet pre and post game with friends and other Buck fans. There are drink specials and late night pricing for food for those who want to stay after the game. The drinks before the game are a little more expensive.
The Bucks herald their one NBA championship and then list 7 retired numbers on one banner. Marquette's honor their two great coaches the great Al McGuire and Rick Majerus.
The BMO Harris Bradley Center is right downtown and right across the street from a couple of great spots, including the Old German Beer Hall, the Milwaukee Brat House and Mader's. Each of these places sell great German food that make you feel like you are in Deutschland.
The best giveaways are definitely the t-shirts but sometimes they give out cool Buck stickers for the car, posters, and calendars. There was talk of a Jabari Parker bobble head but by him being hurt most of the year they are going to revamp that for next year.
The traffic after the games can be somewhat tricky and it is better to get out the arena early rather than sit in your car for at least an hour depending on what parking station you park at. I suggest getting a drink or bite to eat instead of sitting in a car.
The Milwaukee Pro Shop sells Bucks and Golden Eagle merchandise. There are jerseys, t-shirts, hats, and little nick knacks.
Getting to the Bradley Center is not too hard. Located northeast of the meeting points of I-794, I-43 and I-94, it makes it easy to stay on main highways. Maneuvering through downtown to get to the game is easy as well since there are signs and not too much traffic.
The Bradley Center has a lot of food and drink choices to choose from. They have corn dogs, pretzels, polish sausages, pizza and soda and beer. There is also ice cream, Italian ice, and cookies on sale. The drinks are of course Miller focused and they have a wide selection of these. In the suite levels you can get wine and other cocktails.
I suggest, as does the BMO Harris Bradley Center, that the the only way to ensure complete authenticity of your tickets for one of their concerts, special events, or team games is to purchase them through the main ticket center. So this is a long way of saying be leery of those who are selling ticket.s
Safety at the game is fine. Milwaukee is a pretty safe place and there are always plenty of fans going to their cars after the game. Inside the arena the staff and security do a great job of removing drunk and unruly fans.
There is plenty of parking around the arena, although it can be a bit on the pricey side, usually between $15 and $30. You may want to try to find some street parking or a garage farther away for around $5.
Even though the stadium hosts both the Bucks and the Golden Eagles of Marquette, the Golden Eagles reign supreme. You can see this by their banners of their Championship season and NCAA tourney runs with Hall of Famer coach Al Maguire. There is also memorabilia from the Lou Alcindor days for the Bucks.
I suggest seeing a Marquette basketball game. The students really come out in real force and now that they have Steve Wojchiehoski they are going to be in the running of winning the Bi East every year. I recommend sitting by the band and watching the students jump around all game. I would recommend seeing the Villanova Wildcats or The Hoyas of Georgetown.
The fans may show up late, but they are into the game. The team has been down for quite a while but with the new young talent they are becoming more engaged with the team. Parker should put them into the playoffs each year. The fans love to eat and talk about their cheese.
The best seats are of course court side but it's a pretty small arena and you can see pretty good even from the rafters. I like sitting in the 200 level part of the stadium and you can usually get a pretty good deal
