Traffic around Rogers Centre?

Rogers Centre is a venue in or near Toronto that is most often used for Baseball

If you are driving to the stadium along the Gardiner expressway then get ready to wait in a fair bit of traffic so leave plenty of time. The city, especially if its a big game or concert will be jam packed - so definitely leave early and give yourself heaps of time to make it. One of the largest cities in Nth America and they love their sports, so expect traffic.

Toronto has been voted consistently as one of the most congested cities in North America. The traffic surrounding the Rogers Centre is no exception; if anything, it is even worse. Rogers Centre is right on the railway line so the best way to get to Roger's Centre is by Public Transport. Catch the Subway, or the Suburban 'GO Train' to UNION Station. If you HAVE to drive then expect the BRUTAL traffic that Toronto is famous for. If you are coming from East/North, take Don Valley Parkway until the Spadina Street exit. My advice for driving is to park away from the ball park if you are willing to walk. It is not only cheaper parking (there are spots that will sometimes offer around $5-10 for parking to attract people in), further away from the ball park, but it will be quicker to walk than drive.
