Adelaide Oval is the home of Australian rules football clubs Adelaide Crows and Port Adelaide Power. It is an oval arena primarily used for AFL and International and Domestic Cricket matches, with an attendance capacity of over 50,000. Located in Adelaide, it is about two kilometres from the city centre. The northern end of the stadium features "The Hill", a standing-room only area surrounding the heritage Adelaide Oval scoreboard, which has been standing for over one hundred years.
The Wright Street Hotel (near Chinatown) is one of the best. It's had a new fit-out and they have a small, solid wine list and I like the beers they have on tap. It's a bit of a sanctuary from the hustle of bustle of Peel Street and surrounds.
After the game head up to the Oxford on O'Connell St. Grest front bar.
