After having had issues with international teams from Piraeus and Belgrade they had to lower the maximum visitor count to about 6,200. Nevertheless, this arena is simply amazing, probably the loudest indoor venue in Germany! Although it doesn’t really matter due to the perfect acoustic, you may want to sit closer to the south stands where the home fans, the so-called ‘Freaks’ are located. Visibility is great from everywhere, doesn’t really matter where you sit.
Prices greatly differ from game to game, but generally speaking, you will be looking at prices between 15-20€. Which is, regarding the extraordinary atmosphere and overall event, definitely worth every penny!
The seating in the Brose Arena really offers a different experience dependent on what even you are going to see. For concerts, lets just say the seats could be a bit better. The legroom is not ideal, especially for taller people, and if you are having to crane your neck to look at the action for a couple of hours, you’re not going to be so happy.
The basketball offers a different experience, the high paced movement on court means that you are constantly looking everywhere and you are up and out of your seat a lot so the comfort levels won’t be as important.
Simply put, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. In the basketball configuration, the stands are highly banked but none are too far from the court. The loudest fans, Faszination Basketball Bamberg, are the oldest and largest basketball fan club in Germany and create all the atmosphere. Tickets start from €17 to go in with the hardcore while courtside seats €38. As for other events, the price will change depending on how the arena is set up.
