The atmosphere at a Wales rugby game is next level. The acoustics in the stadium (whether the roof is on or off) are sensational, with noise carrying easily in every direction. There is a lot of singing, jumping, cheering and wild screaming at the big moments. You can almost feed off the energy of the crowd, and immerse yourself in the game. Given the quality of rugby is usually superb, the crowd is always up for it. If you’re in the away end, then you’d better hope your squad are ready to help the team out too!

The games played at the Principality are mainly internationals for the Welsh Football or Rugby teams. As such, as you can imagine, the atmosphere is always electric! Yes Wales have always been more of a rugby nation with 6 Nations and International games always setting the city alight with anticipation, but in recent years with the emergence of Welsh superstar footballers such as Aaron Ramsey and of course Gareth Bale – the passion and enthusiasm for football is igniting. There are few places where the national anthem is sung with more feeling and passion and when 70,000 people start to sing ‘Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau’
