Safety at Wrigley Field?

Wrigley Field is the home of the Chicago Cubs in Major League Baseball. It is an outdoor ballpark that has been used for baseball games since 1914, making it the second oldest of its kind in the USA. With its seating capacity of over 40,000, Wrigley Field is located in Chicago, about 8km from downtown. Wrigley Field has some unique and traditional features such as a hand-operated scoreboard, ivy-covered outfield walls and extra viewing platforms in the nearby neighbourhood rooftops.

There are a lot of police officers in and around the stadium so you feel pretty secure and safe while at the game and walking afterwards. They have cleaned up the surrounding neighborhoods as well in recent years so you can go to eat and stay out after the game.

You can be assured of your safety during a trip to Wrigley. All bags and purse-related items are checked by security at the gate, and other guards and security officers are stationed all around the ballpark on game days to ensure that every fan's experience is as safe as possible.
