The stadium is located in downtown Detroit. You might have to deal with a little traffic coming to the game because rush hour still exists until about 7:30. However, after the games your max wait time unless there is a wreck is about 15 minutes.

Their is traffic on the streets next to the stadium and sometimes the freeway gets backed up because of rush hour and people trying to park before games. The traffic isn't too bad after games and it might add 5-10 minutes to your normal ride time.
