Whilst Genk is quite a small city, it is steeped in history – perfectly depicted by Bokrijk the city's open air history museum that has activities for children and adults alike. Football loving visitors though must stop by the GoalMine – situated on the stadium complex, the interactive football museum allows visitors to experience what it's like to be a pro footballer and take a look round the stadium.
