Karo Fish Restaurant is one of the top restaurants in town, but you wouldn't believe it from the prices! They serve some of the freshest fish you'll ever have – but if you're not a fan of seafood, there's not a lot else on the menu…Instead you should take a seat in Pizza Bande – and enjoy a slice (or 8) of Italy in the middle of Hamburg – with great ambiance, fantastic pizza and tremendous prices. What's not to like. But, back to the fish. Bruecke 10 is a great sandwich and coffee that serves up some amazing fish sandwiches! Big flavours and the fact you can get two sandwiches and 2 coffees for €10 is pretty great.

There are numerous locations to eat before and after a match right around the stadium. Doesn't matter if you just want to go for a snack or a romantic dinner, the area has everything to offer. Just to name a few: "Ashoka” is a popular indian place south of the stadium, only about 300 meters. Other good options are "Nil” (mediterranean kitchen) or "Philipps Food” for really good food, but a little bit more expensive. On weekends you will find one of the best breakfasts in town at "Pauline Café Bar & Bistro”.

The Reeperbahn is nearby and is stacked with places to eat of varying quality. There's pizza, Asian food, burgers and the like, but try and find some fish and you won't be disappointed. Hamburg still has a huge fishing industry and the local catch is fresh. Behind the Millerntor is the Rindermarkthalle which had as a slightly more gentrified atmosphere, just don't tell anyone at St Pauli that you went there...
