Despite being only a little town, Hamilton has its fair share of great eateries! John Carrigan's Eating House is a sort of gastropub which focuses its attention on high quality, tasty and well-presented meals. Everything is perfectly executed, so a great choice for any palate. Another option has to be Leonardo's: a really tasty Italian joint which is happy to cater to vegetarians and gluten-intolerant individuals. For meat lovers, there's an abundance of that too! Really great place.

If you are like me, then you need to book a table at either Il Capriccio or Gusti D'Italia while you are in Hamilton. Both are extraordinary Italian restaurants with great atmospheres and wonderful service!Though if you are after something a little more traditional, you could do worse then go to the Bully Inn. The charming pub serves some classic dishes as well as some more luxurious ones. If you're lucky, you will be there on 'Lobster night'! They often play some live music to enhance the atmosphere.If you are in town on a guys away trip, then why not go for an Indian – it's a cliché for a reason after all! Bombay Cottage has the best Indian food in town and never fails to disappoint! They are known far and wide for their portion sizes as well so if you are after value for money, you won't be let down here!
