HDI Arena seating?

HDI Arena is a venue in Hannover

The HDI Arena was effectively rebuilt before the 2006 World Cup and now regularly shows concerts as well as hosting Hannover 96. As a result, the seating is really quite comfortable, and all of the stands are self-supporting which means there are no obstructed views. As you can imagine, the main action areas are behind the goals, with the area behind the South Goal being the heart of where the fervent Hannover 96 fans sit. Tickets here will cost you €14 for a standing spot or €24 for a seat behind the goal. The more expensive tickets are in the stands that run along the pitch and cost up to €45 for seats near the half way line.

The stadium is pretty big, but with the venue exclusively being a football stadium the stands are very close to the pitch. Thus, visibility is great from any given location within the stadium. Prices are fairly cheap, going from 12€ (stances) up to 40€ (category 1) and an average price for decent tickets at around 25-30€. If you want to be sitting, but still closer to the home fans to have catch some greater atmosphere you may want to be close to section N1-N8.

The Niedersachsenstadion was renovated for the 2006 World Cup and thus everything about the stadium is extremely modern. That said, the distance from some of the back seats to the pitch is a little bit far: while there is no running track, there used to be one and you can tell. Tickets are €14 to stand - once impossible to get but post-relegation, plausible if not easy - and more to sit down. It's worth paying the little bit extra to get further forwards for sure.
