NRG Stadium is in a good part of Houston and there are shopping centers and restaurants around the stadium. The Texans are really nice and are always willing to help if needed.

NRG is just outside Houston and is close to the Houston Dental and Medical schools and little strip malls. The area is safe and usually there are massive crowds walking together to the game.

You should pretty safe, there really isn't anything to worry about. And if anything happens your in the medical district of Houston. But you should be pretty safe. That area doesn't have many issues.
