The team that currently plays at the stadium is first division side C.F. Os Belenenses. They are one of the oldest sports clubs in Portugal having been founded in 1919 and the stadium holds up to 25,000 fans, but this capacity is rarely, if ever filled. They have been in the Europa League competitions a number of times in recent years, but have failed to make much progress.The fans are very welcoming to away fans and they epitomise the happy go lucky feeling that Lisbon is all about. The great atmosphere will make for a memorable occasion.

The atmosphere is always a friendly one at the Estadio with the crowds always willing to chip in and help their team along. However, the fact that the stadium is very rarely full and the teams seasons tend to end in midtable obscurity tends to mean that the atmosphere is better in the beginning of the season where anything is still possible.
