The outdoor "fanzone” at Goodison, situated behind the Park Stand can have entertainment, food and alcohol and is free entry to visiting supporters. Arriving early to this area is recommended because the queues can get quite long.In the stadium itself, Chang (the Everton sponsors) serve alcohol in the away section before the match and during half time but the queues can be long and they stop serving 15 minutes before kickoff so get in their quick (and always take your ID with you).Generally you can bring a few of your own small snacks however; cans, bottles or glass is not permitted in the stadium and bags are searched on entry. There are small kiosks selling hot and cold drinks and beverages around the stadium although these are quite minimal. A pie and a pint for example will cost you around £4.50-£5.

Goodison Park serves up classic English footballing food with plenty of outlets and concourses throughout the ground. Burgers, Hot Dogs and Pies are ever popular inside the ground. My tip is to try a Liverpool classic, the Scouse Pie, a meat stew inside a pastry. Pie's cost slightly below the national average at £3.20 whereas a cup of tea will cost £2.30. Alcoholic drinks are available, with Chang beer being especially popular although you will not be allowed to take alcohol to your seat.

Inside it's no frills, unhealthy and quick service: pies, chips and a hot and cold drinks make up most of the menu. If you're travelling in, try a 'scouse pie' to enjoy a little 'local cuisine'! If you want something a bit nicer, my recommendation is to eat before and after the game.Bring your ID if you want a drink inside, as the club sponsor's very own Chang Beer is available to buy.
