Best Pubs around London Stadium?

London Stadium is a venue in or near London that is most often used for Soccer

As the fans have only been going to London Stadium for a few months, there is still a fluid nature to where West Ham fans go to drink before the game. Westfield Shopping Centre is home to many pubs that are proving popular such as 'The Cow', 'Cafe Football' (owned by Manchester United legends Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs). For more traditional pubs, fans should look to the Stratford Broadway area, to pubs such as 'The Langthorpe', and the 'The Builders Arms', opposite the DLR station, this is gathering pace as the place to go as it serves traditional Pie and mashed potatoes as well. A number of pubs in Stratford have declared themselves for home fans only, however the 'Golden Grove' - Wetherspoons pub allows both home and away fans.

The Cow pub. It is a local favorite split-level pub and has rustic style décor inside so may not suit everyone's taste but it is a fan favorite because it is so close to the stadium that you can see it from the pub itself and can even pop in during half-time! That being said, it does mean it is a little more pricey and you will be looking at paying around £6 per glass of wine and around £5 a pint which is a bit higher than the normally high, standard London prices. If you are looking for an affordable alternative you can make your way to the centre of Stratford which is a short walk away to the "Goldengrove” which is a Wetherspoons pub allowing home and away fans with a lively atmosphere and it is quite popular on match day. It is important to note that a lot of the other pubs in Stratford center don't allow away supporters so there are limitations.

With over 50,000 season ticket holders in the area, away fan pubs are hard to come by. One idea is a quick trip to the Westfield Shopping Centre, where there are a few pubs (like the Cow) or even the Holiday Inn. Pretty much all pubs in Stratford have declared as "home fans only” except for the Goldenglove (a Wetherspoons) which might be worth a visit!
