Things to check out around London Stadium?

London Stadium is a venue in or near London that is most often used for Soccer

West Ham have recently started offering Stadium Tours, which for £17, takes you all through the ground itself, from the hospitability levels and the press area, to the changing rooms - letting you experience life as a player, walking down the tunnel to the team dugouts, even sitting in the managers seat! London Stadium is in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park which has a wealth of things to do - from looking at the artwork and poetry that are everywhere, to having fun with the family and visiting the Arcelormittal Orbit Tower, enjoying amazing views before sliding or abseiling down!

London stadium has one of the most all-inclusive, self-guided, interactive tours because it is available in 5 languages to suit tourists (English, French, German, Italian and Spanish). Also, because the venue is also so multi-purpose (as it was built and served as the Olympic stadium during London 2012) there is a range of options to suit everyone. For the sporting and football fans you can see the Home of West Ham Football Club as well as walk through the tunnel, dugout, changing rooms and sit in the stands but it is also the home of UK athletics and is hosting the 2017 IAAF world championships. The tour itself also allows you to see footage of previous music concerts, sporting achievements, matches and races while giving you a behind the scenes glance and offering free certificate mementos and photo opportunities at the end. The café is also open for refreshments while you are there and as there are 3 tours per day and 7 days per week you are unlikely to miss out. Price wise you are looking at £19 per adult, £11 per child and £16 for students and seniors (65+) but if you buy in advance you will save yourself around £2 per ticket.

You're already in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home to the 2012 Olympic Games – there's no shortage of great options! There are river and stadium tours, as well as plenty of hidden green space around Lee Valley. My favourite feature is the Tumbling Bay playground, with rock pools, wobbly bridges, slides, swings and so much more! A great day out for any families visiting the area.
