Best restaurants near The All England Lawn Tennis Club?

The All England Lawn Tennis Club is a venue in or near London that is most often used for Tennis

There are very few options around the venue for restaurants with most being over a 20 minute walk away but one of the most popular places being "Holy Smoke” which receives fantastic reviews for it's European and British cuisine. It is definitely a great choice for those looking to transition into the evening but booking is definitely advisable as it is popular among the locals due to the high quality food and attentive service especially with events at the grounds it can fill up fast. You can expect to pay around £8-£10 for starters, £18-£20 for main meals and £6 for dessert which can be a little steep however, Holy smoke also cater to lunch between 12pm-3pm where you can look at two courses for the reasonable £12 - £15 each before the event starts.Alternatively, if you are looking for more traditional food there are plenty of options if you travel to Wimbledon village where there are a selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes' to suit everyone.

Wimbledon Village is choc-a-bloc with fantastic restaurants. Honestly there's no gastronomic centre located as close to a sports venue as WV is to the Lawn Tennis Club. Dog & Fox on the high street has a delicious menu, not too expensive; Bayley & Sage is an artisan deli which also cooks up tremendously fresh and tasty meals. Take a wander up the high street and just go wherever looks (or smells) best: if it's in the Wimbledon Village, it's going to be delicious.
