Watford is 17 miles north of central London, however there are still ample ways to get to Vicarage Road.Train travel is the most popular type of travel with fans, with Watford High Street Station being a 10 minute walk to the ground and Watford Junction a 20 minute stroll. Both of these stations are easily connected to London Euston Station, and the 40 minute train journey will cost you £8.50 for a single or a day travel card for £12.90The day travel card will also allow you to travel to Watford by tube however the underground station is around a mile away from Vicarage Road.

A boon for Vicarage road over many other football grounds is the ample parking available. There are matchday car parks available at £8 per car, per day. Other options include multi-storey car parks in town, like the Church car park which costs £2.70 for four hours!An alternative is of course the train to Watford High Street (10 mins walk) or Watford Junction (20 mins walk). These will be very busy as you approach match time, so it couldn't hurt to go a little early!
