Being the home of English football as well as London's biggest concert venue, means that it is easily within reach of public transport.Wembley is served by two tube lines - Wembley Park Station with the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, and Wembley Central Station accessed by the Bakerloo and London Overground. Both of these stations are in Zone 4, and so a one way ticket from central London will cost £5.90, though you might want to by an all day ticket for £12.10Trains will leave from Marylebone Station and arrive 13 minutes later at Wembley Stadium Station.There are parking options available however it is a must to book in advance! 

The best way to avoid matchday congestion and expensive parking options are to use public transport and luckily there are plenty of options. If you are coming from central London, you simply need to jump on the Bakerloo line (tube) to Wembley Central station (it is also an overground station if you prefer to get the train). From here it is around a 10-15 minute walk to the stadium. If you don't want to walk to the stadium from here you can get on the 83, 92 or 182 bus from either Wembley Park or Wembley Central station which stops right outside the stadium (although you should leave plenty of time because it gets congested on the road on match day).Alternatively you can get even closer by getting to Wembley Stadium station (it's around 2 minute walk away from the stadium) on the Chiltern train line and is a more viable option for those travelling from the Midlands, Buckinghamshire or Oxfordshire.Wembley Stadium also allows coach services for those who are travelling in groups which can help to spread the cost or you can catch a National Express coach service by yourself if you purchase a single ticket. Taxis will also usually be available outside all major train stations however hailing one on the day will be a lot more expensive than pre-booking.Prices vary depending on where you are travelling from but if you are taking a day trip in and around London, it is worth getting a travelcard which is useful for the underground and overground services and will cost between £12 - £15 for the day.

If you have to take the car, park it near one of subway stations which connects to Wembley, such as Uxbridge, Hillingdon or Ruislip on the Metropolitan line. Parking at the venue is virtually non-existent, and there are lots of residents-only spaces to watch out for.Wembley Park underground station sits on both the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines. Wembley Central stadium is served by both the metro and above-ground trains, however it's a 15-20 minute walk away.
