Best Food and Drink at Borussia Park?

Borussia Park is a venue in or near Monchengladbach that is most often used for Soccer

It's the four P's inside Borussia Park – Pizza, Pies, Pretzels and Pilsner! There is of course some sausages on offer as well. But although the stadium was built in 2004, there is nothing really ground breaking in the sort of food that is on offer – you can find similar food on offer in stands all around the world.

There's a local beer brewing company called "Bolton” near Gladbach who sell their beer in the stadium. I would prefer it to the other option "Bitburger” which is also being offered within the stadium. Both beers will cost you 3,20€ (0.4l). Food options are pretty much standard as well. Go for the good old German "Bratwurst” and you will never go wrong. It is 2,90€. Other options include "Currywurst + Fries” (5.20€) or "Frikadelle” (comes close to a Burger) for 2.50€.

Pints are €4 and changeable: there's the usual Bitburger option, but if you can find it then they also serve beer from a local brewer, Privatbrauerei Bolten. The bratwursts are a reasonable €2.90 and they'll also do you a pizza, bretzel or chips, just like everywhere else. Fortunately they haven't yet taken up the bane of most modern German stadiums, the pay card, so you can still get your food and drinks with cash.
