Best bars near Barclays Center?

Barclays Center is a venue in or near New York that is most often used for Basketball

Prospect Park's upscale subway-tiled cocktail bar is just as suited for date night as for a small group pre- or post-game. The space is intimate, but bustling. The front is more suited for two, while the back has room for groups. Cocktails are stellar here, and the menu mixes up classics, inventive concoctions and a rotating "bartender's choice” for about $12 a pop. Wolf & Deer is just a few blocks down Park Slope's bustling Fifth Ave from Barclays. The small spot features a striking U-shaped bar, 70+ wines and a solid happy hour. Weekdays from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., you'll fine $6 select wines by the glass, $4 draft beers and $8 cocktails. While Wolf & Deer's food menu is limited, the cheese and charcuterie plates are thoughtfully curated. German bierhalle Die Koelner is just steps from the Barclays Center. And with colossal communal tables in a cavernous former warehouse, Die Koelner has room for you regardless of your group's size. Stop in for a pint, liter or boot of German beer – all listed on the menu with helpful descriptive comments. Try the popular Bayreuther Landbier Dunkel Lager, a malty Munich Dunkel Lager with a caramel finish.

Upon my couple of visits to Barclays - I took a wonder down 5th avenue and found the a couple of sports bars within walking distance to the stadium. The staff and patrons seemed welcoming.
