Directions to Yankee Stadium?

Yankee Stadium is the home of the New York Yankees and New York City FC. It is an outdoor ballpark primarily used for Major League Baseball games with a seating capacity of over 50,000 people. Yankee Stadium is located in the Bronx, about 15km drive from Midtown Manhattan. Construction on the stadium began in 2006, and to this day it is one of the most expensive stadiums ever built.

There are many ways in which you can get to Yankee stadium. One is by subway. The other being a car or taxi. You will have to fight traffic but there are multiple routes that will get you to the Bronx. The live traffic feeds help you avoid traffic as well.

The Subway is by far the easiest way in my opinion. Especially if you are from out of town. The locals are always happy to help you get there, but if all else fails follow the Yankee hats on game day. We caught the subway from MidTown and followed the B D Orange lines towards 'Uptown, The Bronx and Queens'. It took us about 15-20mins to get to the 161st St-Yankee Stadium stop. It's a really cool atmosphere on the Subway on the way out to the game.
