I went to a game between the Steelers and Ravens back when it was a really fearsome rivalry between the great Ray Lewis and Ed Reed defenses and Pittsburgh’s Polamalu and Clark secondary. These games were so much fun over the years because you could sense how much they hated each other and that they wanted to hit you as hard as they could. Polamalu was one of the hardest hitters I have ever witnessed firsthand and the way he tracked the ball and lined up a hit was picture perfect. Roethlisberger was also a beast and so hard to bring down as well and that is why it was good to be a Steeler’s fan in the late 2000s.
