My favorite bar near PNC Park is Las Velas. They're in Market Square and have an awesome happy hour.

A long time ago there were some really great bars, like Froggy's in Market Square, but those days are gone. However, I've already mention Max's Allegheny Tavern, and then across the river in the Central Business District I like to drink Martinis, the drier the better, and few can compare with Olive or Twist. Yeah, I know cute name, but hey the Rat Pack, if still living, would stop by and have a couple if they were to hit up a game. Oh, and if you walk from town to the park, well, its on the way, and you can drink outside. Need I say anything more?
