Things to check out around PNC Park?

PNC Park is a venue in or near Pittsburgh that is most often used for Baseball

Check out Market Square in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. It's full of awesome restaurants with happy hours and there's always something cultural going on in the square.

There are a lot of things to do around the park. Grab a shaved Ice on Ridge Avenue from the old school cart that is an institution for such things. The family that owns it has been doing it for generations. Try Max's Allegheny Tavern in Deutsch Town which is but a stones toss away from PNC Park. If you have time check out the Aviary, and the children's Museum. Also, take a run at the Andy Warhol Museum. Its a little different but worth it.

If you are making this a family day, then it is a Short Hop to the Children's Museum that is always fun, as is a ride on the Duquesne Incline. If it is an adults only trip (especially a boys trip) then head right to the Tilted Kilt!
