The traditional New Years Test match at the SCG is always full of colour. On Day 2 of the Test, 'The Ritchies' take over a bay dressed in beige/ivory/off-white suits in honor of former Australian Cricket Captain, Ritchie Benaud. The third day of the test has been renamed the 'Pink Test' which is aimed at raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer nurses for the McGrath Foundation. Players wear pink hats, and the entire crowd is encouraged to wear something pink.
