Never felt unsafe at the stadium ever! You won't have to worry about anything near the stadium or even in Toronto generally.

If there is a major criticism of Rogers Centre is that it is too safe, sterile, boring and has no character or edge to it. The ballpark is located on the edge of the Financial district and the Lakeshore area surrounded by Condo buildings filled with young professionals. With the introduction by the MLB to have metal detectors at the entry gates, there is even less chance of anything going down at the Rogers Centre.

All bags and guests are subject to search upon entry including metal detectors. Law enforcement personnel is posted at all entrances throughout the facility and inside the event itself. Re-entry is prohibited. The staff reserves the right to eject patrons upon refusal to cooperate or for unruly behavior.
