I like to mix and mingle between home and away fans when I go to a match, so I have to recommend the The Vine, between the stadium and the town centre. It's spacious, not too crowded and a great atmosphere. 15-20 minutes' walk. The Royal Oak (a mile from the stadium) also welcomes all fans, serving cheap beer and some Asiatic cuisine. If you're being driven, you can leave the car at the Park Hotel (£5) and use their bar for a couple drinks as well.

There are an abundance of good pubs around the Hawthorns for both home and away fans. One of these fans which has home and away fans mixing together is 'The Vine' - it's the most popular match day pub for a reason - cheap drinks and great food with fans raving about the Tandoori food. 'The Royal Oak' and 'The Uplands' are both similar serving great food, cheap drinks and friendl places for home and away fans to mingle.The more vocal home fans tend to drink around the bus station area and pubs such as 'The Goose', 'Waggon and Horses' and 'The Rising Sun' are all lively, so if singing songs is your thing - make sure to check these out.
