Despite the fame of the club, the city of Wolfsburg really isn't the biggest in the world and as such, walking to the stadium is actually an option here. From the main train station you are only looking at a 15 minute walk to the ground – a welcome change from other grounds around the country.If you really don't want to walk a few minutes – then there is a special VRB bus service that runs from the city centre to the stadium. Honestly, it's probably not worth the waiting time!

Car: Take the highway A2 and get on highway A39 when approaching "Kreuz Königslutter”. Take the state road B188 and you'll be directly guided towards the Park + Ride parking lot P5. From there you can either walk (15 minutes) or take a free shuttle bus to the stadium. In my opinion, this is best and least stressful option if traveling by car. You could also park at P3 and P4 which are near the stadium, but there are only about 3,000 parking spots and the traffic after any game is going to be really annoying. Train: Wolfsburg Central Station is only about a 5-minute walk from the venue. I highly recommend this option, you'll also encounter numerous fans on your way.

It's the Volkswagen Arena in the centre of a Volkswagen factory so car parking is pretty high up the agenda. There's plenty of it - space for 5,000 cars - and some of the outlying spaces are served by a park-and-ride system to take you onwards to the stadium. The main train station is within walking distance too, just over the river, about 20 minutes by foot.
