Volkswagen Arena seating?

Volkswagen Arena is a venue in or near Wolfsburg that is most often used for Soccer

The stadium is perfect for Wolfsburg – it is just big enough and certainly new enough to attract some great players as well as having the German FA stage some internationals here, but with a capacity of just 30,000 it ensures that the ground is full for most games! As you can imagine the most competitive fans and fan clubs are based in the North Stand – and with 130 of these clubs – the atmosphere is awesome. Here you have standing tickets for €12 and seats for €19.The club prides itself on being a family friendly club – and so, thankfully, the 'Wolfi-Kurve' South Stand is a non-smoking area – a welcome respite to those not used to people being allowed to smoke inside a stadium.

Considering that the club usually has Champions League potential and is a frequent player in international competition, the stadium is pretty small. Some say it doesn't really do the club any justice. However, probably half of all the matches aren't even sold out although the venue only fits about 30,000 people. A pretty sad fact for one of Germany's top-tier teams. Stances are 15€ whereas I highly recommend getting the "Hintertor” tickets in the North stands. They are only 19-35€ (depending on the opponent) and offer every neutral fan the best atmosphere as they are directly located behind the home fans. Plus, they are by fair the cheapest seats available and still offer great visibility. Other tickets are from 28-70€, also depending on the opponent, with an average price of 35-50€.

The Volkswagen Arena was opened in 2002 and is very modern, so no seat has a bad view. It is compact and the roof extends way over the stands, so you won't get wet and the whole arena holds in the noise. Behind the goals in the home end there is a standing section with space for around 8,000 fans, which is where the majority of the atmosphere is generated. You'll be lucky to get a ticket in there, as mostly it is for season ticket holders, but if you do, expect to pay around €15.
