This is the place to bring your kids and show them their first Bundesliga experience! The crowd and fans are super supportive and cheerful but on the other hand very peaceful, too. Plus, there is a special stand for only children, it is pretty cheap and no adults are allowed. I myself have been there as a child and these experiences opened up my great affection for football. A rememberable event!

Bear in mind that in Freiburg, nobody bar nobody will ever call the stadium the Schwarzwald Stadion. While the Black Forest Stadium sounds nice, and is actually appropriate for a stadium in the Black Forest, it is actually a corporate sponsor (a milk company). Everyone else calls it the Dreisamstadion after the river that runs behind the ground.
