Best Food and Drink at Millerntor-Stadion?

Millerntor-Stadion is a venue in or near Hamburg that is most often used for Soccer

The food and drink options inside the stadium are similar to the food and drinks you will find scattered all over the country. Football cliché food though is popular and if you are a fan you will not be disappointed here! Fries, Bratwursts, Pretzels and of course Hamburgers are all available to buy – and wash it all down with a delicious beer!

Half a liter of beer for 4€ is okay, not too cheap, but in general an average price regarding Germany's overall stadium scene. In St. Pauli I don't know if I would rather recommend getting a Bratwurst (2,50€) or a good old and traditional fish roll as it is common for northern Germans to have. Usually I go for Bratwurst, in St. Pauli I would suggest following the tradition and a grab a fish roll which is, by the way, cheaper, too (2€).

Astra by the bucketload. Some would say that St Pauli fans are the drunkest in Germany, others might suggest that one would need to be drunk to watch such consistently terrible football. Either way, they're sponsored by local brewer Astra and they love to sink it back like there's no tomorrow. It's €4 a throw, and be aware than in the unlikely event that St Pauli score, plenty of it will be thrown. One of the interesting features of the lefty culture at St Pauli is that they have the best selection of vegan and vegetarian food that one could ever hope for in a stadium - so take a break from the bratwurst and get involved.
