The easiest way to get to get to the venue is on the train and if you are coming from central London you simply need to hop on a train to Selhurst or Thornton Heath station which are between 5-10 minute walk away and should not cost you more than £6 return. Alternatively, if you are travelling regionally or nationally you should aim for London Victoria, London Bridge or Clapham Junction which are normally 30-50 minute journeys where you can change for one of the above stations.You can also catch the 468 bus from Elephant & Castle or the X68 from Waterloo Station which pass the stadium on their route. Taxis are available to pre-book from the stations or you can normally hail one from outside although they are more expensive. Although coaches are available there are very limited spaces and it is recommended to book via Crystal Palace in order to guarantee a space for large groups.

Selhurst Park is in the far south of London, and indeed it is debatable on whether it is in 'London' at all. As such the best way of getting to the stadium is by train. Nearby stations such as Thornton Heath, Selhurst Station and Norwood Junction are all within 30 minutes of central London by train, and within a 20 minute walk through a safe and well lit residential area. Despite being 30 minutes from London, a ticket from Victoria Station to Selhurst costs around £5.20 for a one way ticket - however the most economical option would be to buy an anytime day return for £8.20.Unlike stadiums in central London, Selhurst Park is accessible by car, and so taxi drop offs are common. 2 taxi companies that are used to taking fans to and from the stadium are Addison Lee and Carlton Cars.

Sadly there's no underground station (my personal favourite way to get around London) but there are two above-ground train stations at Norwood Junction and Thornton Heath, conveniently located next to good footie pubs! Both are accessible from London centre, though of course they're busy lines on a matchday.There's also an array of buses which go right up close to the venue, which are listed and updated on the club (Crystal Palace) website!
