PNC security is pretty impeccable they have a service that allows you to text SECURITY to 61592 and you can get help rather it's medical or a security issue. Fans can only bring one bag in with them.

Traffic around PNC Park?

As with any event in Pittsburgh, traffic can be a nightmare. It's best to park downtown or in a garage otherwise trying to get close to the stadium is going to be a nightmare and a half.

PNC Park seating?

The seating is amazing. I've sat very close and very far and you can still see the game no matter where you are. Also, the view of the Pittsburgh skyline is still the same.

Best bars near PNC Park?

My favorite bar near PNC Park is Las Velas. They're in Market Square and have an awesome happy hour.

Dealing with scalpers at PNC Park?

Stay away from scalpers near PNC Park. Legit tickets can be bought for $25 so there's no reason to go to a scalper.

Best giveaways at PNC Park?

Pirate Quiz: It takes place in the middle of the fourth and a fan is quizzed on all things Pirates trivia. The winner can win a $250 jacket or trade it for "The Box of Mystery."

Come early and check out Highmark Legacy Square located inside of the Left-Field entrance. It's an exhibit that pays homage to the Negro Leagues.

Always expect a rowdy but mostly safe crowd. Pittsburghers take their pride really serious and it's always a good time.

Check out Market Square in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh. It's full of awesome restaurants with happy hours and there's always something cultural going on in the square.

Artifacts to look for at PNC Park?

Check out the statues outside of PNC Park. There are several massive statues paying honors to Pittsburgh Pirate legends outside of the park.

Stores to hit up at PNC Park?

You can't leave PNC Park without checking out the Majestic Clubhouse Store. It has loads of souvenirs for everyone in the family .

PNC Park parking?

Parking can be tough, but there are ample pay lots, and they aren't that bad on the pricing. You will see them as you drive around as the attendant's are going to jump on the hood of your car in the hopes of getting you to park there and toss them $10 or $20. There are free spots too, but most people opt for the pay lots, I don't, I'm more hard core! Anyway, make sure you get there early if you want a spot, or take the T under the river and park downtown, or at Station Square. Alternatively, you can pay for passage by Faux-Steam Boat that will drop you off by the Stadium and take you back to your car at Station Square. There are a lot of ways around this problem.

My favorite thing to eat in the entire park is the pierogis hands down.
